Phone for a parent: larger-screen unlocked iPhones
For a parent or grandparent, the one thing about a phone that we can check against a source is the size of its display. This page lists 168 listings across 7 iPhone models whose Apple specification lists a display of 6.5 inches or larger, from $299.
It does not rank phones, and it says nothing about how easy a phone is to learn or about software support, which depend on the person. A larger display shows text and photos at a larger size, and that is all this page says about it.
How these phones were picked
- Display: the model's Apple specification lists a display of 6.5 inches or larger. The size and the source are shown on each model below.
- Unlocked: the listing's stored details say the phone is unlocked, which means it is not tied to one carrier. Check that it works with your carrier and the model number before you buy.
- Choice: a model appears only when at least 3 of its listings meet both rules. 7 models do today.
- Condition: new, open-box, renewed and used listings are all included, and each card shows its own condition. Battery health shows only when the seller states it.
