How used phone asking prices are calculated

Used phone prices

Source
The guide reads asking prices from live FlexEmarket model listings, not sold prices. Only listings with a finite, positive price are included.
Grouping
Listings are grouped by model and condition. The condition columns are Used or Open-Box, Used, Open-Box, New. The combined column includes Used and Open-Box listings. Renewed listings and unrecognised conditions can count toward a model's total but have no price column. Storage rows use a single size read from the listing title. Titles with several sizes or no size stay only in the all-storage-sizes row.
Median and sample size
A median is shown only when a cell includes at least 3 listings. It is the middle asking price after sorting, or the average of the middle pair for an even count. Every priced cell shows its listing count. Model rows show the lowest and highest prices; storage rows show the lowest price, with a median when the same minimum is met.
Dates and updates
The guide is configured to revalidate after 15 minutes, rather than on a guaranteed update schedule. If a refresh fails, an older page can remain available. The guide's date is the newest listing-change date supplied by the included models, not a sale date or a snapshot date.
Limits
The guide covers selected iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, not every phone. Rows can mix colors and carrier lock status. Models with incomplete listing data or failed reads are left out. Small samples describe the listings included, not a market-wide average. Open a listing to check its details before comparing prices.
